1st Finchampstead was out in force at the Three Towers Hike on Saturday 5th April. The hike is a hike around the Berkshire Downs, with routes of 25km for the Scout teams, 45km for the Explorer Scout teams and 70km for the Leader teams. |
|||
The Scout Troop was out over the Easter break on Eastrek, a hike camp invented by the Leaders. In winds, snow and rain, 15 Scouts, plus a number of Explorer Scouts on an associated Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition, went on a hike along the Kennet and Avon Canal from Bath back towards home. |

This is a major Wokingham District event and we are asking for as many people as possible to attend. We will meet in the Market Square in the town centre at 1.45pm. This is followed by a parade to the church, finishing by approximately 3pm.

Scouts Do you have plans for the Easter weekend – No! Then join us on our hike along the Kennet and Avon Canal. |

With camp only a week away now it's time for a reminder of the kit list! For those who haven't been to Camp before, this is a fairly standard camp kit list. Please make sure that all items are clearly labelled and, in the case of cutlery, plates etc, marked in such a way as to withstand washing-up. |
