This year's Autumn Camp will take place from Friday 30th October to SUnday 1st November.

This will be the last camp of the year and all places have now been taken.

Parents should have now filled in the Permission to Camp Form and return it to the leaders on Thursday or Friday with a Cheque for £55 made out to 1^st Finchampstead Scout Group. 

Attached is the programme plan for Greenfinch.  Our aim this term is to complete two Challenge Badges (Promise and Global) along with the DIY Activity Badge.  Friday evenings activities have been designed to cover these badges however there will be some work required at home which the Leaders will advise during the term.  Please note the programme may change however you will be a

Summer Camp 2009 is expected to be from 25th July to 1st August - we intend it to be in Devon.

Since we expect it to be a camp based on water activities, we're probably not going to be too far from the coast.There's a picture that one of the leaders took in early March 2009 that can be seen by clicking here.

Wokingham District is running a weekend activity on 13th & 14th June, giving scouts the opportunity to gain the Scout Survival Badge.

Places are limited to 12 scouts, so if you are interested, you need to email Jeremy

There has been so much interest in this event, the places are all taken and a waiting list is in operation.

The District will be running another Cub Scout and Scout football day on Sunday 7th June 2009, refereed by our own inestimable Dave Judge.

Closer to the event  you will have the opportunity to let your section leader that you're really good enough to be in the England team, but instead you're willing to play for 1st Finchampstead. There will be more details as well.

Wokingham Half Marathon - Sunday 24th May
