Scout Summer Camp will take place this year from 7th to 17th August 2010 on a site by the shore of Poole Harbour in Dorset.

A great place to have camp this year, with lots of opportunities for sailing, canoeing, coastal walking and beach visits, climbing and many more activities.

We need to put in names of those Scouts who wish to take part in the Three Towers Hike, which this coming year takes place on Saturday 10th April. Last year was an incredibly successful event for 1st Finch, with a win in the Scout event and second place in the Classic event plus RECORDS for the fastest female scout and fastest finishing Classic pair EVER!

Due to the success of 1^st Finchampstead’s recent “Eastrek” expeditions we will be running the event again in Easter 2010 for both Scout Troops.  The hike will be held in the New Forest and will run over the Easter weekend (April 2nd – 5^th 2010). 

Goldinch Scouts had a great time snotubing last night.

The Scouts were even running up the hill to get yet another slide down (the Leaders just polodded gently up)

As Goldfinch Scouts know from their email, they will be snow tubing at Aldershot on either 4th or 11th March. There will be an email with the exact allocation of Scouts to dates in the near future. On the meeting that you're not snowboarding, there will be activities in Finchbase at the usual times.

This will take lots of preparation and we'll want YOU to take part on the day.
