Nancy's retirement activity evening - 17th July

Nancy Savage, our former Group Scout Leader and retiring Cub Scout Leader for Badgers Pack, invited all members of the Group to a Water Activities Evening at the Waterside Centre on the banks of the River Thames tonight.

Beavers and Leaders, Cubs and Scouts, all had a splashing time on the river, not many left dry.

Group Camp was held over the May Bank Holiday at Cricket Camp, Bursledon and was the best attended camp we have ever run.

The Scout Troop was out over the Easter break on Eastrek, a hike camp invented by the Leaders. In winds, snow and rain, 15 Scouts, plus a number of Explorer Scouts on an associated Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition, went on a hike along the Kennet and Avon Canal from Bath back towards home.

Cub Scouts at the Circus

Cub Scout Summer Camp 2007

The Cub Scouts from both packs enjoyed a fantastic camp at Runways End Scout Activity Site in Farnborough. The site was renamed Worlds End, as this year's camp theme was 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

Over 60 Cubs and Leaders enjoyed the camp with many activities and much fun.

Scout Summer Camp 2007

The Scouts had a great Summer Camp this July on the shore of Bassenthwaite Lake in the English Lake District. The weather wasn't always the greatest that we could have, but was much better than the reports of torrential rain and floods which we were receiving from further south!
