This year we decided to venture a little further afield for the night hike so we headed off to Simon's Wood. The Scout Troops had a joint fun camp at the end of Autumn Half-Term at PACCAR Scout campsite on the outskirts of London. The weather was a little damp at times, but everybody had a great time with spooky Halloween moments. Pictures by Greg - click on the picture below to see them all. |

A large number of the Group's members paraded for Remembrance Sunday this afternoon. It's splendid to see so many of our young people remembering those who fought for our freedom. After the parade we also planted a tree in the Memorial Park to celebrate our 90th anniversary. |

Yesterday, we held the Group's 90th Anniversary Party, celebrating it with an Activity Day at Longridge Activity Centre on the River Thames by Marlow. Over 150 members, leaders, parents and friends attended, to make an excellent day out. Some pictures from the event can be seen by clicking the image below. |

8 of the leaders (with another 4 leaders as support crew) climbed the three highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis, 1394 m), England (Scafell Pike, 978 m) and Wales (Snowdon, 1085 m) within a 24 hour period. They started at 5p.m. |
